The 2021 season is starting slowly....
NEW SIGN POSTS
We have some exciting updates to share, including brand new trail signage! Thanks to a grant from the Loisirs Laurentides “On Bouge” program, we were able to design and purchase 12 wooden trail signposts to help you find your way along our 13 km trail network.
NEW EASY LOOP TRAIL
Also new this year will be a 1 km loop for novice skiers or anyone who prefers to stay away from hills. This section, called “Ti-Loop”, will stay on the flat land along the bottom of Flanagan’s farm, running parallel to Route 327 in a loop, joining back up to the flat section running behind Serres Arundel. We hope those of you who enjoyed the small loop behind the Post Office will check it out and let us know what you think.
TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS AND MAINTENANCE
We will be widening and levelling sections of the trail over the next few weeks in an effort to improve your winter trail experience. Thanks to Anne Poirier, Jean Brosseau, Luc Provost, Marc Poirier, and all the other volunteers who work hard to keep our trails maintained over the course of the winter season. If you are interested in being part of this hard working, dedicated team, please contact Anne Poirier at 819-421-1556 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
On a trial basis, we are allowing dogs to accompany their owners on the trail. However, dogs MUST BE ON LEASH at all times, including in the parking lot area. If you are a dog owner, you must obtain permission from Loisirs Arundel before bringing your dog on the trail. You can indicate your request on the Registration Form.
Your membership card from 2020 is valid until December 31. Your 2021 membership is effective as soon as you purchase it. You can register and pay at Arundel Provisions. This year we have implemented a non-resident fee as noted below.
